Its data is retrieved from AS400 and stored on a SQL Server 7, thru MTS based controls written in c++ and ATL.

    • Design and Development of n-tier Air/Sea Booking Applications for the Air/Sea Team using COM/DCOM, C++, MFC, third party API's and ATL technologies along with ODBC to connect to the LAN, AS/400 & OS2/DB Databases. Purify from Rational was used to test and ensure product quality and efficiency. This technology was implemented using Visual Studio 6.0 as the development suite. These applications where crucial in the final stages of the Celebrity Conversion to the Royal Caribbean system during their merger. The Air/Sea application was comprised of a Server application (COM Server) and many small Window Clients that used the server to communicate with booking providers such as Worldspan and Amadeus, to make airline reservation, modifications, cancelations and additions. The Server was written in c++ and ATL. Clients where written, using MFC (Visual Studio 6.0).
